What Happened?

28 February 2025: A suicide bomber detonated and blew himself up at the exit of the Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak, targeting the Vice Chancellor Moulana Hamid Ul Haq Haqqani, on his way home. Hamid Ul Haq Haqqani was martyred along with 5 other civilians.

Local media confirmed that at least 18 other people were injured.

No investigation has yet identified the assailants.
