What Happened?
04 May 1947: A 15-cwt truck drove up to the 2nd Parachute Bn. Camp at Naharia, and six bombs were hurled into the compound from the vehicle. The bombs missed their marks, and no casualties were reported.
This attack took place shortly after the Acre Prison raid. Other documented attacks on this day include a failed truck hijacking, a bomb in a school playground, the explosion of a local bridge, and the ambush of British military personnel.
