What Happened?

19 April 1947: The Palestine Post reports two separate attacks on British soldiers in Haifa. No casualties were suffered by the government forces, and a car used by the terrorists was damaged upon returning fire.

The attackers likely belonged to the Irgun Zvai Leumi. This attack coincided with two other deadly attacks by Irgun on this day, the Netanya Leave Camp Raid and Allenby Street Grenade Attack.
