What Happened?
24 May 2017: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a house in the Gurwek area of Shawal Tehsil. The timing of this attack is unknown. A local paper, The Nation, alleged that the strike had killed Abdullah Kashmiri, a militant commander of an unknown faction.
No other information is present about this attack and no independent inquiry was made afterwards.
