What Happened?
03 January 2010: A U.S. drone strike targeted a house and a car in the Musakki area of North Waziristan Agency. The house is reported to have belonged to a local man named Jana Roz. The CIA and local military intelligence alleged that the strike had killed at least 3 foreign and 2 local militants.
Jana Roz’s son, Sadiq Noor, was allegedly targeted and was described as a local schoolteacher with militant connections.
However, data collected by the FATA authorities indicate that at least two of the dead were children, including a 9-year-old boy whose name has been reported as Wajid. There is no other information available about this attack.
