What Happened?
09 December 2012: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a house in the Tapi Tol Khel area of either the Miranshah or Ghulam Khan Tehsil. This attack reportedly occurred at around 1100 hours. Media reports alleged that an Al-Qaeda commander Muhammad Ahmed Al-Mansoor had been killed.
The Express Tribune alleged that three other people from Al-Mansoor’s family were killed, raising a strong likelihood of civilian deaths. However, none of these allegations have ever been independently confirmed, leaving this attack undocumented.
