What Happened?

03 September 2008: A U.S. attack of unknown means targeted the village of Charkhel near Miranshah in North Waziristan Agency. The attack is reported to have killed at least 5 civilians. A further 4 civilians were reportedly injured.

The only documentation proof of this attack is a secret document prepared by the FATA Secretariat in Islamabad. It has never been reported on any local or international media.

This is one of the most mysterious, secretive, and undocumented U.S. attacks in Pakistan. On the same day, another secretive U.S. attack killed 18 people in Angoor Ada in South Waziristan Agency.
