What Happened?

British Government Communique No. 56 (23 April 1946): “At about the same time, four explosions occurred in a waiting room in Tel Aviv railway station, causing damage. One Jewish terrorist was seriously wounded while igniting a bomb. He was captured and was removed to hospital. Two flash bombs were found on the scene.”

This attack coincided with an Irgun raid on a Ramat Gat police station on the same day, killing and injuring policemen there.
