What Happened?

06 January 2006: A pair of U.S. gunships attacked a home in Saidgi Area of Pakistan’s North Waziristan tribal agency. At least 2 children and 2 women are reported to have been killed in this raid. Three alleged militants were also killed in this attack.

An eyewitness reported having seen several U.S. soldiers, who had driven in on ground transport from Afghanistan, dragging away two local men.

No other information is known about this raid. The home belonged to Moulvi Noor Muhammad, an alleged Taliban figure, who was not present at the time of the raid.
