What Happened?
10 May 2011: At about 1430 hours, a missile was fired from a U.S Drone targeting a house and car believed to be of Maulvi Nazir’s militant group, killing up to five people and injuring 4 others in the Baghar area of Tehsil Birmal.
Unverified sources describe three “Arabs” as among the dead, but internal governmental documents list those killed in this strike as three “locals”. Given the lack of any independent inquiry, this drone attack is considered undocumented.
