What Happened?
08 May 2005: A U.S. drone missile targeted a car in the North Waziristan Agency of Pakistan’s federally administered tribal areas. The victims included Haitham Al-Yemeni, an al-Qaeda leader connected to Osama Bin Laden, and an aide named Sami Ullah Khan.
This is the first known U.S. drone attack in North Waziristan Agency.
