What Happened?

4 March 1948: A Haganah unit entered and raided the neighbourhood of Wadi Nisnas with orders to “kill adult males”, according to Israeli historian Benny Morris. The attackers threw Molotov cocktails into Palestinian homes, leaving them ablaze.

Of the 30 injured Palestinians, “19 of them were sure kills” according to Haganah militants responsible for the attack.
