What Happened?

16 October 2008: A U.S. drone attack allegedly targeted a parked Toyota wagon in the Taparghai area of North Waziristan. The CIA alleged that the attack had killed an Egyptian Al-Qaeda operative Khalid Habib and four other ‘militants’.

A local Pakistani intelligence source is quoted by the CNN to have claimed that the attack damaged three nearby houses, killing at least four civilians and injuring seven others.

Given the involvement of possible civilian casualties, this attack requires independent verification and is not considered documented.
