What Happened?
01 January 2011: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a moving ‘state car’ in the Daur village of Muhammad Khel in Datta Khel Tehsil. This attack happened at around 1740 hours. Media reports alleged that between 04 to 05 ‘suspected militants’ had been killed.
Data published years later by FATA officials allege that a ‘state car’ was destroyed in this attack. However, FATA documentation also allege that four Uzbek militants were killed in this attack. It is not yet known why a state car was involved in this attack.
