What Happened?
06 October 2010: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a building in the Miranshah Bazar area around 1930 hours. Media reports allege that an Al Qaeda commander Muhammad Usman was killed and that up to six other militants perished. However, Muhammad Usman was clearly not killed in this attack as his death was claimed into another drone strike later in June 2011.
The identities of the other casualties has never been independently inquired. Given that this attack happened on a market, there is a high possibility of civilian casualties.
