What Happened?
14 December 2010: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a car in the Malik Azadar Ziarat area of Miranshah. The attack happened at around 1440 hours. The limited media reports have been contradictory, with some claiming the death of ‘suspected militants’ while others alleging that local people and village residents were killed.
Data published years later by FATA officials alleges that the victims were Afghan nationals. No independent inquiry has ever been made into the victims of this U.S. drone strike.
