What Happened?
23 January 2011: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a motorcycle in the Khar Qamar area of Datta Khel Tehsil. This attack reportedly occurred at around 1210 hours. Media reports alleged that two ‘suspected militants’ were killed in this attack.
Data published by FATA officials years later indicates a death toll of two people, including a ‘foreigner’. It is not specified if whether the casualties were militant or civilian. No subsequent study has taken place to document this drone attack.
