Date: 28/10/2010

Location: North Waziristan Agency, FATA, Pakistan

Perpetrators: United States

Victims: 4 Killed

What Happened?

28 October 2010: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a house in the Ismail Khel area of Kazha Madda Khel. The house reportedly belonged to a local man Alif Deen. This attack happened at around 0300 hours. Media reports alleged that four militants of the Haqqani Network were killed, including Arab foreigners.

A local photojournalist Noor Behram visited the attack site shortly after and found that four civilians had been killed, and that the villagers helped themselves in the absence of rescue services.

Data published years later by FATA officials indicate that four locals had been killed in this attack. This corroborates the account of the local journalists. However, no inquiry has ever been made to learn the identities of the casualties.
