What Happened?
09 May 2010: A U.S. drone strike targeted a house in the Inzar Kas or Kazha Madda Khel area of Datta Khel Tehsil. The house reportedly belonged to a local man Awar Gul. News agencies reported the claim from official sources that 10 ‘suspected militants’ had been killed.
One source noted that a Pakistani intelligence official reported that at least 4 of those killed were civilians. A document published years later by FATA officials places the death toll at 5 ‘local’ people.
This attack is considered undocumented due to the inconsistency in reporting and official narratives.
