What Happened?
10 January 2013: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a house and multiple motorcycles in the Hassu Khel area of Mirali. At least six drones reportedly took part in the attack. The house was completely destroyed as a result, and the dead bodies were unrecognisable, making any identification impossible.
Despite this, media reports alleged that all casualties were militants. Data published years later by FATA officials does not log or mention this U.S. drone strike at all. No other independent inquiry has ever been made on this attack.
