What Happened?
13 May 2011: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a car in the Doga Mada Khel area of Datta Khel Tehsil. Media reports on this strike are scarce and poor, with some claiming the death of five ‘suspected’ militants. No on-the-ground investigation has ever taken place to document this attack.
A documented published years later by FATA Secretariat in Peshawar does not log this U.S. drone strike in official records. This is one of the most obscure and least documented U.S. drone strikes in the region, especially for possible civilian deaths.
