What Happened?
28 May 2010: A U.S. drone attack destroyed a moving pick-up truck in the Nizi Narai area of Gundai Narai Pal. The time of this attack is unknown. A local newspaper Dawn reported the deaths of Omar Khaitab, a local Taliban commander, and Osama Bin Ali bin Al Dawsari, an Al Qaeda commander.
Another local paper, The Nation, reported that all of the casualties were civilians and belonged to a local family. Data published by FATA Secretariat in Peshawar alleges that 7 locals and 2 non-locals were killed. No other independent information is known about the casualties.
