What Happened?

03 October 2008: Multiple U.S. drone missiles struck the town of Muhammad Khel in North Waziristan Agency. The attack is reported to have killed at least 21 people by some news agencies.

A local paper, Dawn, reported that 14 local people were buried after the attack. The dead included: Abdur Rehman, three sons of Abdur Rehman, and three other relatives of Abdur Rehman, Kamran, Siddiq, Noorul Haq, Zarmali Khan, Wazir Jan.

CIA alleged that all those killed were foreign militants. A document published by the FATA Secretariat in Islamabad alleged that this attack had killed 17 people, 7 of whom were foreigners.

Given the large death count, child deaths, and conflicting media and official reports, this attack is considered undocumented. It requires independent verification.
