What Happened?
15 October 2010: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a house in the Marsi Khel Wazir area of Mirali. This attack happened at around 2335 hours. Media reports allege that the Taliban commander Qari Hussein was killed. However, Hussein had prior been allegedly killed in separate drone attacks twice earlier in October 2010, and later in July 2011.
Data released by FATA officials years later allege that one local militant and four Punjabis were killed in this attack. No other independent inquiry has ever been conducted.
