What Happened?
08 October 2014: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a moving car in the Laman area of Datta Khel Tehsil. This attack reportedly occurred before midnight. AFP quoted Pakistani security officials that four ‘militants’ were killed in this attack, including foreigners.
This attack occurred during Operation Zarb e Azb, which barred access to journalists. No independent inquiry was ever made to learn of the victims and their militant or civilian status.
