What Happened?
27 October 2010: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a ‘suspected state car’ in the Krome Wazir village of Khaddar Khel area in Datta Khel Tehsil. Media reports allege that a car of suspected militants was destroyed, killing at least 4 ‘suspected militants’ and leaving scores of people injured.
Data published by FATA officials years later indicate that the U.S. drone had destroyed a suspected state car, which raises the likelihood that the casualties were Pakistani state officials and workers. No other independent inquiry has ever been performed about this strike.
