What Happened?

11 December 2008: A U.S. drone strike targeted a house and adjacent Madrassa / school in the Sirki Khel area of Kaza Ponga near Azam Warsak in South Waziristan Agency.

CIA alleged that 6 militants were killed. The villagers and eyewitnesses reported that all those killed in this drone attacks were civilians, including a prominent local scholar Maulana Sheikh Hakim Khan.

This drone attack needs further independent verification of the casualties before it can be considered documented.
