What Happened?
10 December 2010: A U.S. drone strike destroyed an unknown entity, possibly a car, in the Dand Killi area of Datta Khel Tehsil. This attack happened at around 1725 hours. Media reports alleged that four suspected militants were killed in this attack.
The British Foreign Office acknowledged reports that two British nationals had been killed, named Stephen Smith and Darry Smith. They were members of a British militant group, Islamic Army of Great Britain. It was alleged that other casualties in this drone attack were also militants.
As per local journalist Shafiq Ahmed, the dead were buried in a special graveyard in Datta Khel Tehsil reserved for foreign fighters.
