What Happened?

15 May 2008: US drone missiles struck a home in the village of Damodola, killing at least 15 people. Amongst the dead was Abu Suleiman al-Jazairi, an Algerian militant whose death was confirmed by local media and Pakistani intelligence.

However, the remaining casualties have not been independently verified.

Two years earlier, a US drone strike had killed 18 civilians, including women and children, in the same village.
