What Happened?
12 April 2010: A U.S. drone strike targeted a house belonging to a local man Tariq Khan in the Boya Kalay area of North Waziristan.
CIA alleged Tariq Khan to be a militant commander, however local testimony collected shortly after the attack identified all the casualties as a family.
Locals, including a man named Noor Gul, said that the victims were all civilians and belonged to families. The attack killed at least 2 children.
This was the second U.S. drone attack in a row that had killed an entire family including children.
