What Happened?

16 February 2009: US drone missiles struck a home in Bagan Village in the Kurram Agency (Pakistan’s federally administered tribal areas), killing at least 30 people. Western media reported this attack as a “Taliban training camp”, although no evidence has been documented.

However, the casualties have not been independently verified. No official documentation or local reporting is believed to exist.

Three years earlier, US drones had attacked a school in Bajaur Agency, killing more than 70 children, some as young as seven years old.
