What Happened?
22 November 2008: A U.S. drone strike targeted a house in Ali Khel area of North Waziristan Agency. The strike is reported to have targeted the home of a local named Khaliq Noor. The CIA alleged that it had targeted Rashid Rauf, an Al-Qaeda linked British national in this attack.
However, there has been independent verification of the casualties. A document later released by the FATA Secretariat in Islamabad alleged that all casualties were innocents.
