What Happened?

12 September 2008: A U.S. drone attack targeted a former school in the Tol Khel area of Miranshah in the North Waziristan Agency. A report from an Urdu newspaper notes that 12 members of one family were killed in this attack, while many more were injured.

CIA alleged that the attack had killed 10 to 15 militants associated to a Qari Imran and Al-Qaeda. The building is reported to have belonged to either Shah Adam, Yusuf Khan, or Shadim Khan.

No other independent verification is available for this attack, making it undocumented. A secret FATA Secretariat document notes that 3 male civilians were killed in this attack.
