What Happened?

26 March 2009: Although disputed and not reported by Pakistani officials, an alleged U.S. drone missile was blamed for destroying a house in the Sokhel area of Mirali in North Waziristan.

The house reportedly belonged to a local man named Malik Gulab Khan. A report from AFP notes that residents of the house were killed, raising the probability that civilians were killed.

This is one of the least documented attacks in the region given the potential for civilian deaths and the disputed nature of the attack.
