What Happened?

29 January 2008: Multiple U.S. drone missiles struck a home in the Khushali Kila area, near Mirali, in North Waziristan Agency. The attack reportedly killed 12 people, including at least two women and three children. The civilian home owner was also killed. The CIA claimed the intended targets included senior Al-Qaeda figures including: Abu Laith al-Libi, Abu Obeida Tawari al-Obeidi, Abu Adel al-Kuwaiti, Qari Hussein Mehsud, and Adam Gadahn.

However, a Pakistan Government document leaked later reported all killed in this attack to be civilians. Given the contradictory accounts, this drone strike is undocumented and requires local and eyewitness confirmation.
