What Happened?
20 September 2010: Around 1530 hours, a U.S. drone strike targeted two or three ‘alleged militants’ next to a parked motorbike in the Drazanda area of Miami Kabul Khel. Minutes later, a double tap attack targeted rescuers who came to the scene.
An anonymous security official alleged that all the dead were militants. Data published by the FATA officials years later contradict this account by claiming the dead to all be ‘locals’. It is unknown if whether the rescuers were civilians as well.
This is an undocumented attack as little information about the casualties has ever been collected.
