What Happened?
23 October 2008: A U.S. drone attack targeted a school in the Danda Darpakhel area of Miranshah in North Waziristan Agency. The CIA alleged that the school was linked to the Haqqani Network and that dead were militants.
Local eyewitness reports from that time state that the attack mostly killed children between 12 and 18 years old.
A document from the FATA Secretariat in Islamabad notes that the dead were all civilians.
Given the lack of information and identification, this attack is considered undocumented and requires verification.
Possible casualties: Qadir Khan, Gul Wali Shah, Salim Gul, Abdul Wali, Sangeen, Bekhtullah, Rehmatullah.
