What Happened?
25 July 2010: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a car and a housing compound in the Shaktoi area. Fourteen ‘suspected militants’ were killed, according to reports at the time of the strike. Seven people were injured, including five civilians in a nearby house, media accounts.
However, in January 2014 the Bureau published an internal Pakistani government record of CIA drone strikes. It listed this strike as killing 32 locals, of which 15 were in the car/pick-up truck.
