What Happened?

18 October 2010: A U.S. drone attack destroyed a house in the Kazha Madda Khel or Sanzali area of Datta Khel Tehsil. The attack occurred at around 2150 hours. Media reports initially alleged that all the casualties were ‘suspected militants’.

An independent journalist, Noor Behram, visited the area shortly after the attack to learn that a 10-year-old boy Naeem Ullah was among the dead. The identities of the ‘suspected militants’ have never been independently verified.
