What Happened?
03 November 2010: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a car in the Qutab Khel area of Miranshah. The attack happened at around 1645 hours. Media reports allege that ‘suspected militants’ of Uzbek origin were present in the car, while an anonymous Pakistani security official said that the car was filled ‘arms and munitions’.
Data published years later by FATA officials contradict these accounts, instead alleging that 4 locals were killed in this attack. This was the first of three U.S. drone strikes in North Waziristan on this day.
