What Happened?
02 February 2010: A U.S. drone strike targeted multiple cars in the Pai Khel area of North Waziristan, minutes after destroying multiple houses in the nearby towns of Degan and Muhammad Khel. It was alleged that all the casualties were militants.
Eyewitnesses reported that the targeted cars did not belong to militants, which prompted later investigations to determine that at least 5 of the dead were civilians.
