Khaisori (N. Waziristan) Drone Attack II – Oct 2010

What Happened?
07 October 2010: A U.S. drone strike destroyed both a house and a car on the Mirali-Bichi road in Mirali Tehsil. The attack happened at around 1630 hours. News reports alleged that the CIA had successfully killed an Al-Qaeda commander from Libya Atiyah Abdul Rehman and Qari Hussein Mehsud.
However, Atiya Abdul Rehman was not killed in this strike as his death was once again claimed in August 2011. Qari Hussein Mehsud was also not killed in this strike, as his death was claimed by the CIA once again a week later, and then in 2013, and then finally in 2015 when his death was confirmed by the Taliban.
It is possible that one militant Khalid Muhammad Abbas al-Harabi was killed in this attack.
