What Happened?
02 February 2010: A mass cluster of U.S. drones targeted the entire towns of Degan and nearby Muhammad Khel, striking multiple houses and creating a mass-casualty event. It was alleged that some 24 militants had been killed, however there has never been any independent confirmation of these casualties.
A documented published years later by FATA officials alleged that 24 local people had been killed in this attack.
