What Happened?
17 July 2009: At least 4 U.S. drone missiles struck a house in the Badar Garyum area of North Waziristan Agency. The house belonged to a Moulana Abdul Majeed, who the CIA alleged was linked to the Taliban.
AP alleged that Taliban officials acknowledged that 5 of their colleagues had been killed in this attack, while local sources reported that those killed were guests from South Waziristan.
No further independent inquiry was ever made, leaving this attack undocumented.
