What Happened?
06 December 2010: A U.S. drone strike destroyed either a house or a car in the Ali Khel Mandi area of Tori Khel Wazir in Mirali. This attack reportedly happened at around 1900 hours. This is one of the least reported and most secretive U.S. strikes in Waziristan, as it was not reported on any media except the Chinese-run Xinhua.
This drone strike was acknowledged by the CIA in August 2011, where it was claimed that four missiles were used to destroy a house in this area. Data published years later by FATA officials contradict the CIA statement, where it is instead claimed that a car was destroyed and that 04 local people were killed.
This was the second of two U.S. drone attacks on Mirali on this day.
