Waqar Ahmed is an independent journalist and researcher based in Islamabad. His work focuses on Western intervention, war and political violence, with particular attention to the people and places left out of official accounts. He is the founder of One Minute Massacres (OMM), an independent documentation project preserving the names and stories of civilians killed in Western operations across the world.
