What Happened?
03 November 2010: A U.S. drone strike destroyed a car in the Hassu Khel area of Mirali. The attack happened on the bridge over the Tochi River. This attack happened at around 1930 hours. It was reported that up to 5 ‘suspected militants’ had been killed. It was also reported that a nearby house was also struck, although it is unknown if there were any casualties.
Data published years later by FATA officials alleges that 4 locals were killed in this attack. Given the lack of any inquiry, this U.S. attack is considered undocumented. This was the second of three U.S. drone strikes in North Waziristan on this day.
