What Happened?
23 March 2010: A U.S. drone strike targeted an unknown house in the Machis area of Miranshah in North Waziristan. It was reported in media that six ‘alleged militants’ had been killed, while three were left injured.
However, there has never been any independent inquiry made into this attack. It is unknown if whether the casualties were truly militants or if this was a signature strike on assumptive intelligence that could have incurred civilian casualties.
